My new Blog

This is the first time I've ever done a Blog, so I'll keep it real short for now.

Greetings everyone!

Welcome to my new Blog here on the git Platform of your liking. This is the very first time I've ever done something like this, so don't expect too much. Also a late happy new year to everyone out there!

I'm trying to push more code this year while learning more. Currently I'm testing the Zed IDE so stay tuned for my opinion as a long time VSCodium user.

On Sunday, my first chess tournament is starting. It's gonna be interesting to see how well I can perform over the board, but I'm definitly looking into some openings in the meantime.

If you want to play against me (gonna be an easy game for you), you can find me on Lichess and Chess.com under the username "Spoljarevic".

I'm tweaking some settings on Arch now, my main OS on my PC besides RHEL. As you can see, today I uploaded some new files like configuration for ncmpcpp. If you are interested in using it, make sure to clone my Dotfiles Repository. I'm gonna add a short README with a tutorial too, just don't ask me when.

Besides that, a Ansible Playbook for setting up a basic Raspberry Pi can be found in my Ansible Repository under installation/piinstall.yml. At the moment, only Package installation is in it but I'm gonna work on implementing more things like systemd service activation.

If you think something is missing, feel free to contact me under git@spoljarevic.info or just make a pull request and I'm gonna look into it, test it, and if it's good merge it too.

Last year has been great for me in terms of IT and Linux, and I'm gonna expand my knowledge this year too.

My sister bought me the book "Ansible for DevOps by Jeff Gerling" for christmas, so hopefully I'll be able to publish higher quality playbooks in the future.

That's it for now, thank you so much for reading and feel free to create an Issue if you have any more questions!
